This page applies to every PosterJam open call. Each individual call has its own page with the specific theme, deadline, and any extra rules for that edition — check that page too before submitting.
PosterJam is Local Design Circle's ongoing open call for poster design.
Every edition sets a theme (and sometimes extra creative constraints) and invites designers to respond with a poster made specifically for it.
Open to anyone, from anywhere. Everyone is welcome.
You must be 18 or older to enter. By submitting, you confirm you're at least 18.
Entries are unlimited overall. Each form completion can include up to 10 posters — if you have more, simply submit the form again.
Your poster must be original work, made specifically for the open call you're entering — not a repurposed poster or something submitted elsewhere before.
It cannot include third-party brands, logos, trademarks, or any material you don't hold the rights to. Plagiarism, in any form, disqualifies an entry.
You are solely responsible for any copyright issue connected to your submission. Local Design Circle and PosterJam are not liable for third-party rights claims arising from your entry.
The only way to enter is by completing the official submission form linked from posterjam.ro.
Submissions sent by email, social media, or any other channel will not be considered.
Check the specific open call's page for the exact file format, size, and deadline — these can vary slightly between editions.
Entries are reviewed by a jury against the criteria stated for that open call.
Results are announced through the channels stated on that open call's page.
Selection decisions are final. We don't run an appeals process.
You keep full ownership of your work — always.
By submitting, you grant the Local Design Circle Association / PosterJam (and, where stated, the partner organization for that edition) a non-exclusive right, now and in the future, to use your poster for the exhibition and beyond: promotion, print and digital publication, social media, websites, and inclusion in books or magazines that may be sold.
You'll be credited every time your work is used or published.
Apply unless the open call's own page says otherwise.
File types: .jpg (RGB, quality 100)

Submitting the form means you agree to Local Design Circle storing and using your contact details to run the competition and to get in touch with you about it. We don't share it with anyone outside the organizing team (and, where relevant, the edition's partner organization).
Entries are submitted "as is." By submitting, you confirm you have the right to submit the work and that it doesn't infringe on anyone else's rights.
You agree to indemnify and hold Local Design Circle, PosterJam, and any edition partner harmless against claims, losses, or expenses arising from a breach of these rules.
These rules are governed by the laws of Romania. Any dispute arising from or related to a PosterJam open call is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bucharest, Romania.
We may update these general rules between editions. The version live on posterjam.ro at the time of a given open call is the one that applies to it.
